RPST
This is the full course of 5 years validity for R-PST. The candidates who already have a PART A Certificate (18 months valid) can book R-PST PART B Course As per DGS Order 11 of 2022, the course will be conducted PHYSICALLY.
Eligibility
- INDOS is Mandatory
- PST Course certificate
- Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.
Documents Required
- PST certificate
- Candidates need to carry a copy of their Valid DGS Approved Medical Certificate (Soft Copy will suffice)
- We recommend candidates bring their own Boiler suit and Safety Shoes.
- If the sea service & the certificate is updated on the Seafarer Profile, then the seafarer profile can be submitted.
As per DGS Order 20 of 2020, Successful Completion of E-Learning Modules (DG Shipping Course ID- 6122) through the DGS website is mandatory to get a Digital Certificate for all DG approved Courses. However, Elearning can be completed prior to or after the Physical Classes.

As per DGS Order 11 of 2022, the exit exam has to be given only in the MTI.
In case the candidate fails in the exit exam, they can give the exit exam on the following working day at the MTI.
